A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working full-time in a school setting near Chatham, VA, with assignments extending to Danville, VAjust across the North Carolina border and approximately 1.5 hours south of Roanoke. This position supports a K-12 caseload from now through the end of the school year, offering a chance to collaborate with two virtual Occupational Therapists to deliver effective therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Collaborate closely with two virtual OTs to ensure continuous quality care
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes accurately
- Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other school personnel to support student success
Qualifications/Experience
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload involving grades K-12
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working cooperatively with virtual therapists
Schedule
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract position beginning ASAP through the end of the current school year
